Applying Cognitive Sciences

This project presents a professional development workshop designed to support teachers in incorporating Reggio Emilia–inspired, project-based approaches within their art classrooms. Informed by findings from cognitive science, the workshop emphasizes the development of curiosity, creativity, and learner motivation as central drivers of student growth.
By focusing on the conditions that enhance intrinsic motivation, conceptual understanding, and self-expression, the workshop aims to help educators create environments where students engage deeply, think divergently, and construct meaning through sustained, hands-on exploration.
